When Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) gets a "universal remote" control for his television and every appliance in his home did he get more than he bargained for? After pausing a television show to talk to his wife Michael finds out that the "universal remote" can control all of the regular everyday appliances but also that it will stop, fast foreward, rewind, and pause his life. Michael gets his remote at an unexpected place, Bed Bath and Beyond, (weird right?) and he ignores all the warnings given to him by the sales preson, Morty. Like any new technology the remote has its problems that will eventually be worked out. When Michael realizes what the problems of the remote are he desperatley tries to get rid of it. However the remote is always there no matter what. So in the end "Click" turns out to be a comedy, tearjerker, and a life lesson all put cleverly in to one plot. Or a very similar version of a "Twilight Zone" episode entiled "Stopwatch" |
